Créde Sheehy-Kelly is a Sport and Performance Psychologist and Campaign Manager for Rugby Players Ireland's "Tackle Your Feelings" mental wellbeing campaign. Créde has extensive experience working with professional and elite athletes to enhance performance and support athlete welfare. Joined by Dr Eddie Murphy, Clinical Psychologist and Advisor to the Tackle Your Feelings campaign, this workshop uses the lens of professional sport to explain how we can inspire more people to become proactive in looking after their wellbeing. The workshop will also demonstrate sport psychology strategies that can be practically applied to develop resilience and optimise mental wellbeing in our everyday lives.

Dementia Elevator Project (HSE)
Kate Irving is Professor of Clinical Nursing in Dublin City University and was lead of the DCU, Dementia Elevator project. Kate has been involved in clinical practice, teaching and research in the dementia field for almost 20 years. Kate was the Principal Investigator in a European dementia project, In-MINDD and was a partner on a further two European consortiums, Dem@care and Actif-Care. Kate developed and co-ordinated the joint HSE/DCU Dementia Champion Programme, the Dublin Northside Alzheimer Café and the Memory Works screening/remediation Clinic in DCU.
This workshop will focus on providing advice and help to friends, family and carers of elderly people.

Ann-Marie has worked in education for over 14 years and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a BA degree in Humanities, as well as a Professional Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness (IICP) and has created Department of Education approved courses for teachers. She is passionate about living mindfully and working with others in the area of self-care.

Anne McCormack is a Systemic Psychotherapist, Irish Times contributor and author of ‘Keeping Your Child Safe on Social Media: Five Easy Steps.’ In this workshop, Anne will explore the idea of families as living systems. She will explain how mental fitness, resilience and the issue of stigma can all play a part in a family’s sense of wellbeing if a family member is dealing with mental ill health.

“Our Mental Health” is an independent documentary film that aims to debunk the stigma around mental health problems in Ireland. It features personal stories of people who have struggled with their mental health and how they have overcome those struggles. This workshop will be a live version of the documentary, and will include a number of the film’s participants who will share their stories on the day and be open to Q&A.
