For many, the pandemic highlighted the importance of exercise for their mental health. People may have come to exercise to stay physically fit, but they remained for the unexpected tangible benefits, to keep themselves mentally healthy. This relationship is not conjectured either; the research is sky high with data showing the relationship and the mechanisms. This session is an interactive look at how we can use exercise as a tool to support our mental health.
Participants will understand the mechanisms and how their favoured forms of activity can be built into their own holistic mental health strategy.
Suitable for any member who is interested in exploring how we can use exercise as a tool to support our mental health.
